This will be a short post as I am sure, like myself, everyone is busy with Thanksgiving preparation and traveling. When my feet were pounding the pavement this morning I was reflecting on the number 11 and how it is prophetically the number of transition. As we are coming to the end of the 11th month in our calendar year, I was thinking about how almost everyone I know is in some sort of a pivotal transition in their lives. God is waking people up and transitioning us/them into a new place with Him.
I believe a big part of that transition is restoration. The Elijah List published a prophetic word from Johnny Enlow in the beginning of November that speaks of transition and restoration. I hope you take the time to click on the link and read it. http://www.elijahlist.com/words/display_word.html?ID=15314
If you are in a rush, this is the part that I felt I wanted to publish before the Big day tomorrow:
A Wonderful and Wonder-filled Thanksgiving
Very key in this “November to Remember” will be a remarkable Thanksgiving. We have just broken out of a 14-year cycle of trial and refinement and you will feel it this Thanksgiving. There has been a release of a wonder-filled “wind of reconciliation” and connecting for family and friends. Expect a sweet time together as you hoist your sail and yield to that wind. Relational estrangements from many years are going to be repaired, and one of the first signs of this is when you will hear from family members wanting to connect, who haven’t wanted to connect in a long time.
This Thanksgiving and this Christmas will be an amazing healing time for families and you only have to yield to it. Solid family relationships will go to yet another level of love and closeness as great bonding will take place. Many significant physical healings will also happen as families take the time to pray over each other. Jehovah-Rapha (the Lord who heals) will be visiting our homes this Holiday Season and amazing testimonies will come from it. Much healing and even new important relational connections will happen this whole November, but especially around Thanksgiving.
What a great word! We need to do our part to fulfill this restoration! Even better than a prophetic word giving encouragement is what God’s word says about restoration. The book of Philemon is all about restoring. It is extremely short (one chapter) and provides good insight on the process.
Some simple ways to bring restoration and/or strengthening to a current relationship is to follow Philippians 4:8New Living Translation (NLT)
8 And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
If we go into our celebrations over the next few days only focusing on what is lovely and admirable about each person we come into contact with, we can change the atmosphere of our gatherings and cause unity and relationships to grow. Be the catalyst for transition and restoration. Let nothing unholy come out of your mouth about anyone and watch restoration begin.
I am wishing you all a very safe and joyful Thanksgiving!
